Mirka Andolfo is an award-winning Italian artist and writer, appreciated for her strong female characters. Her creator-owned books (Unnatural, Mercy, Sweet Paprika, Un/Sacred) are published in more than 25 countries in the world (so far, the sales total more than 750,000 copies).

She has collaborated with DC Comics since 2015, working on titles including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, DC Comics Bombshells, Punchline, and Superman vs. Lobo. In 2020, she became the first Italian creator to work on both story and artwork at DC (Harley Quinn Black + White + Red).

Andolfo has also written for The Walt Disney Company, Marvel, Dynamite (Red Sonja, Red Sitha), BOOM! Studios (The Amazing World of Gumball, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and illustrated two issues of the award-winning Ms. Marvel series (Marvel).

As an illustrator, she’s contributed to marketing and advertising campaigns for companies including Paramount, 20th Century Studios, Netflix, and Juventus, and has drawn comics and illustrations for many publishers both in Europe and in the United States.
