Color restoration of comic reprints has been a controversial topic for a few years. Despite the advances in technology, many comics are reprinted and recolored with bright colors that do not resemble the original editions. Comics colorist and MICA professor José Villarrubia will show how he applied his theories to two comics masterpieces, Bernie Wrightson’s Swamp Thing and Richard Corben’s DEN, for new deluxe editions.
